Oxfam on X: "We condemn all violence and targeting of Israeli and Palestinian civilians. As soon as it's safe, our staff and partners in Gaza will deliver water, sanitation & food. But

PEACEMAKERS!

Warfare and unremitting violence has resumed in Gaza. Unspeakable numbers of civilians have been killed by Israel’s aerial bombardment.  U.S. tax dollars are funding a war that is causing horrific death and suffering for thousands of children and other innocents.  Sadly, this also means the people of Israel become less secure as the vicious cycle of war and violence has no winners. When will we learn?

Shockingly, U.S. Senator John Fetterman (D), who was elected due to overwhelming support from young voters, people of color, and progressives across Pennsylvania, has been one of the most vocal supporters of Israel’s cataclysmic war strategy and for using billions our tax dollars to wage that war.

We will faithfully gather outside the Philadelphia office of Senator Fetterman every Friday afternoon (12:15 pm – 1:15 pm) until the senator publicly supports our demand for an immediate, permanent ceasefire in Gaza that is aligned with U.S. House Resolution 786.

Our weekly peace vigil is rooted in radical nonviolence, and we expect vigil participants to refrain from violent actions, words, or messages on signs and banners.

The only flag we wave is that of PEACE!

CEASEFIRE IN GAZA NOW!
