Brandywine Peace Community and The Alternative Seminary  invite you to hear international peace activist and long-time war resister,  Kathy Kelly.

Sunday, March 18 – 3:00p.m., at Project HOME, 1515 Fairmount Avenue, Philadelphia

Believing that “where you stand determines what you see”, Kathy has traveled extensively around the world to areas impacted by violence and U.S. wars, and has engaged in numerous acts of nonviolent direct action for which she has been arrested and jailed. 

Kathy Kelly will be in Philadelphia speaking on how the U.S. policy of endless wars and its direct impact on human catastrophes, including starvation, disease, displacement, and other forms of violence and suffering – and how we can respond.  Kathy co-coordinates the Voices for Creative Nonviolence a campaign to end U.S. military and economic warfare. She has done extensive writing, speaking, and other media work to share her message.  She has won numerous awards for her constant work for peace and against militarism and war.
