CUT PENN’S TIES TO ENDLESS WAR (& Penn alumni, Trump) during Penn Relays.

Friday, April 27, Noon – 2p.m., 34th & Walnut, Phila., PA

Thousands from around the world will be at UPenn for these historic games and UPenn’s flagship.  If past years are any indication, thousands will hear our message.

The day’s protest during the Penn Relays will be joined by the Center City Drone Death Walk/Vigil.  Call Marge Van Cleef at 203-804-3013 for more information on the monthly death walk.

WHY PROTEST AT PENN DURING THE PENN RELAYS: Penn, University President, and the Vanguard Group.
The protest will also call on Amy Guttman, president of the University of Pennsylvania and board member of the Vanguard Group, to take a public position against the Vanguard Group’s investment in war , mass incarceration, and small arms.  Guttman appears to have been paid over $1.2 million by the Vanguard Group as a member of its board of directors,  Guttman’s salary at UPenn is reportedly $3.4 million and has been on the Vanguard board since 2006.
