Anti-War Drone Death Walk/Vigil in Center City, Phila., PA

People have been walking and standing each month in Center City Philadelphia for over 7 years,  with the hope of keeping some passersby in center city and UPenn aware of the unending war the U.S. continues to wage, using drones, against the people of Afghanistan, Pakistan, Iraq, Yemen,  Somalia, Libya and Syria. Killer Drones bring death and endless war.  And, just as more drone bases and command centers like the one at the Horsham Air Guard Station, Donald Trump will bring more drone strikes, more war. Trump must be resisted (period) whether in Horsham, at Lockeed Martin in King of Prussia, or in center city Philadelphia.

Please join us for the ANTI-WAR DRONE DEATH WALK/VIGIL on Sat., February 4 , 2016 from 11:45a.m. – 1:00, gather at 12th & Arch St across from Convention Center.

Please wear BLACK, we will bring plain white masks.  Call Marge Van Cleef at 203-804-3013 if you will need a mask or have questions While standing in the manner of a “SILENT DEATH WALK” we bring attention to the wars and the victims of drone attacks, done in our names. We hold banners, signs, photos of victims, and hand out leaflets. This is street theater, thus we keep to the form of silence, masks and black clothing.
